Birleşik Krallık’ın Avrupa Birliği Üyeliğinden Ayrılmasına (BREXIT) İlişkin Geçiş Dönemi Hakkında Duyuru

Bilindiği üzere, Birleşik Krallık’ın Avrupa Birliği üyeliğinden ayrılmasına ilişkin geçiş dönemi ile ilgili olarak, 01.02.2020 tarihli ve 31026 Sayılı Resmî Gazete’de “Birleşik Krallık’ın Avrupa Birliği Üyeliğinden Ayrılmasına İlişkin Geçiş Dönemi” adlı ve 2020/1 Sayılı Cumhurbaşkanlığı Genelgesi yayınlanmıştır.

Söz konusu Cumhurbaşkanlığı Genelgesi’nde, “Büyük Britanya ve Kuzey İrlanda Birleşik Krallığı’nın Avrupa Birliği ve Avrupa Atom Enerjisi Topluluğu’ndan Çekilmesine Dair Anlaşma (Çekilme Anlaşması)” uyarınca; mezkur Anlaşma’nın yürürlüğe gireceği tarihten, taraflar arasında aksine bir düzenleme yapılmaması halinde, 31 Aralık 2020 tarihine kadar sürecek olan geçiş dönemi öngörülmektedir.” ifadeleri yer almaktadır.
